How do Conspiracy cards work in MTG?
Conspiracies are never put into your deck. Instead, you put any number of conspiracies from your card pool into the command zone as the game begins. These conspiracies are face up unless they have hidden agenda, in which case they begin the game face down.
Can conspiracies be used in Commander?
Excluding the 13 “Conspiracy”-type cards, which can be only used in Conspiracy or Cube drafts, all of the new cards are legal in the Vintage, Legacy, and Commander formats.
Does enchantment count as permanent?
An enchantment is a permanent. See rule 303, “Enchantments.” See also Aura. 303.1. A player who has priority may cast an enchantment card from their hand during a main phase of their turn when the stack is empty.
Can a sorcery have flash?
You may cast sorcery spells as though they had flash. (You may cast them any time you could cast an instant.) If Leyline of Anticipation is in your opening hand, you may begin the game with it on the battlefield. You may cast spells as though they had flash.
Are Conspiracy cards modern legal?
Cards from Conspiracy are not legal in Modern unless they were already printed in a Modern legal set. There were 65 new cards in that set, 52 are legal in Legacy and Vintage the remaining 13 are not legal in any Constructed format. The 13 that aren’t legal are the ones with the Conspiracy type.
Are 1 1 counters permanents?
Counters aren’t permanents. They aren’t even objects. 110.1. A permanent is a card or token on the battlefield.
Can you have two of the same enchantments MTG?
Yes you can. The only limit on enchantments is the same limit that all permanents have: the Legendary rule. You can only have 1 permanent in play of a given name if they are legendary. However, even if you enchant a creature with the same enchantment, subsequent enchantments might not do anything.
Why is Flash banned in Commander?
Flash was banned in Commander in 2020 because of how it warped the competitive EDH meta. cEDH players were heavily incentivized to incorporate the Flash/Protean Hulk combo into their decks, as no other viable decks came close. You can counter flash cards like you would any other instant-speed card. In fact, one of the easiest ways to play against flash is to counter their cards.
