Kinco has been making gloves in Portland, Oregon since 1975. They have different glove types for various hands-on activities, from masonry to gardening and everything in between. But we’re here for their winter gear. They make a handful of options in both glove and mitten varieties.

Are kinco gloves any good?
They are very high quality and quite warm. I haven’t used them on really cold days, but they’ve been great so far at 10 F and warmer. They can show some soaking even with the included nikwax applied, but I’ve yet to feel the water inside the gloves. Overall these are excellent.

How do you break in kinco gloves?
I’ve had my kincos for about quarter a season (~20 days of riding) and have full mobility in them. Just keep using them and eventually they’ll pack down a bit. Session The best way to break them in is to throw them in the trash and buy a quality leather glove.

How do you wash kinco gloves?
Wash in a washing machine with cold water. Do not dry to prevent shrinking. If there are spots, use spot cleaner and a brush to work out the stain. Washing with oxygen bleach will save the color and protect the gloves.

Takes a few waxes to get them really waterproof, but after about 3-5 waxes it’ll be nice. Leather breaks in differently depending on how you treat it, for example, if you get them wet with no waterproofing and dry them out, the gloves could shrink just a tad bit.
