What size nib does the TWSBI 580 have?
Diamond 580, 530 and 540 (and variants, eg 580AL, 580RB etc) TWSBI Diamond 540. One of the advantages of the TWSBI Diamond series is that replacement nib units are available and easily changed by unscrewing from the front of the barrel of the pen. All these models use a number 5 size nib.

There are no incompatibilities between JoWo made nibs at the same size; they’re exactly the same dimensions and use the same feed and housing, including the thread pattern. There are cases where the shaping of the nib differs slightly (or the length).
How do you replace a Pelikan nib?
Twist the nib in a counter-clockwise direction. The nib and the feed will unscrew from the barrel. With the nib removed from the pen it is easier to flush ink from the barrel of the fountain pen. Replace the nib with your new nib or the existing nib if you are simply cleaning the pen.
