Each doula student has 2 years to complete the following certification requirements:
- Complete the all designated online course modules (onsite workshop and self study start)
- Obtain 10 approved Educational Units and provide a written summary about your experience (4 EUs of which must be in chestfeeding related topics)
What is a doula for the dying?
End of Life Doulas, or EOLDs also called Death Doulas or Death Midwives, enrich the dying experience for patients, family members and friends, while strengthening the relationship between medical (the doctors, nurses, social workers) and non-medical support (the family or caretakers).

How do death doulas make money?
This is usually presented at an hourly or per day rate. Some doulas may decide to charge a flat fee to assist the person in their dying process. The hourly rate can range from $25 to over $100 an hour depending on the needs of the client.
Can a doula be a man?
