The stop closest to the Hollywood Bowl is the Hollywood and Highland station. Several Metro bus lines also stop near Hollywood and Highland. The train spits you out at a shopping center near attractions such as the Dolby Theatre, which hosted this year’s Academy Awards, and the historic TCL Chinese Theatre.

The vast majority of the seats at the Bowl are very cramped bench seats with little leg room or side-to-side room. If possible when you’re booking, try to book in a way that leaves one empty seat next to you. It’s less likely to be taken at showtime.

Are there obstructed views at Hollywood Bowl?
You’ll have either an incomplete view because of the position of the seats, or something will be in your line of sight – like a handrail, speakers, or the soundboard. We sell these seats because for many fans an obstructed view is not a problem, and the tickets are clearly labeled at the time of purchase.
Is Section E Good at Hollywood Bowl?
Other than the few seats that have an obstructed view, section E at the Hollywood Bowl is a very nice lower cost alternative to box seats. They are as close as the Terrace Boxes… just more stage left. They are bench seats but still very close to the main stage. They are also close to the restrooms and concessions.
