Is Beamish expensive?
The museum opens at 10 o’clock and you really need to be there as early as you can so you can fit as much in as possible. The only negative things I can say about Beamish is that the food is expensive – it cost about £10 for 2 scones, 2 coffees and a sausage roll.

We had an enjoyable family day out. Beamish is a fun place for all the family with plenty to see and experience. we loved the tram rides and steam train and visit down the pit.
