What time are QTAC applications due?

What is QTAC application?
QTAC is the Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre. They receive and process applications for the majority of undergraduate programs offered by universities in Queensland. If you are an international student or you are applying for postgraduate study you apply online directly to USQ for your chosen degree.
Does QTAC cost money?
Your child can list up to six degree preferences on their QTAC application, with their preferred degree as first preference. The application fee for Year 12 students is $44 until 29 February 2020. After that, the fee increases to $75. For non-Year 12 students, the application fee is $75 until 30 September 2019.
How do I pay for QTAC?
Payment options
- MasterCard or VISA at the time of application.
- BPAY using internet banking with your financial institution.
- Credit card, EFTPOS (debit card) or money order at our office (if you select BPAY as your payment method).
Can I accept 2 university offers?
No. In principle, you could do that, but it’s not advisable, for the simple reason that if either school finds out you’ve accepted another offer, then both schools could end up rescinding their offers, and would be within their rights to do so.
What happens if you don’t get Uni offers?
The university considers your application. Universities should take 21 days to make a decision, but they can take longer. If it gets to 21 days and you haven’t heard from the university you have two options – you can either wait for the university to respond, or you can replace the course with another option.

What is a good ATAR score?
As the ATAR is a percentile, a 99.95 ATAR means that you are in the top 0.05% of your state. Likewise, an ATAR of 99 means that you are in the top 1% of your state. Generally an ATAR of 99+ is considered as competitive for entry into Medicine (dependent on performances in the UCAT and Interviews).
