What is the point of an unofficial transcript?
Unofficial transcripts are for informational purposes only, and should never be sent to outside entities in place of an official transcript. Employers and other colleges and universities will not accept an unofficial transcript to transcribe transfer credit or verify degrees completed.
What does official transcript include?
An official transcript includes a seal and signature of the registrar as well as all of your coursework and degree information. Schools tend to charge for these transcripts to be processed. The term “unofficial” in this case usually means that your transcript is an online version with just a list of credits and grades.
Do transcripts show future classes?
Transcript will show past, current, and future coursework in which you have enrolled. Note that grades for the current term may not display on your unofficial transcript immediately. Grades will show after each instructor submits them. Sometimes there is a bit of lag time.
