Does POSTAL 2 Multiplayer still work?
We have decided to cease official support for POSTAL 2 Multiplayer as the player base is less than 50-100 these days, compared to the many thousands spending time in singleplayer. The multiplayer in its current state is flawed with netcode dating back to 1999. It also has various issues on modern PCs and Windows 10.
How do I fix my POSTAL 2?
right-click on Postal 2, click “Properties…” link….try the following:
- start a new game and check if the same error have appeared, if not then something wrong with exact savefile and it is, probably, doomed.
- if error still appears, then unsubscribe from all workshop content and start a brand new game again.

Launch the installer. There will be two tick boxes shown, one for Afterburner and one for RivaTuner Statistics Server, tick both of them, and start the installation process. 5. Postal2.exe should now be on the list, click on it and set the ‘Framerate limit’ to 60.

How do you uncap fps in portal?
Use the console command “fps_max 0” (no quotes) to remove the limit, or set a high value limit. You may have to enable the console in your controls but the default command is your tilde.
How do you set your FPS limit on steam?
Steam has no way to limit fps. That’s game specific, or engine specific. fps_max is the Source engine fps limit command iirc. And about how it does it, it’s the same as adding parameters to a desktop shortcut for a non Steam game or program.
