Can I use my own helmet at K1 Speed?
Yes, you can wear your own helmet at K1 Speed as long as it is Department of Transportation (DOT) approved with a full-face cover and equipped with a visor or goggles.
How long does K1 Speed membership last?
one full year
Your annual membership is good for one full year from date of purchase. If your membership has expired, you’ll be able to renew it for another $7.95 when you purchase your next race.
Can I wear shorts at K1 Speed?
We require that all racers wear closed-toe shoes, keep long hair tied back, and don’t wear anything too loose fitting. T-shirts, jeans/shorts and sneakers are appropriate attire for a day of go kart racing at the track. Keep in mind, indoor kart racing at K1 Speed is a very physical activity so dress accordingly!
Is K1 Speed refundable?

Can you ride go karts pregnant?
If a pregnant woman is involved in an accident on the go-kart track, it can cause placental abruption or miscarriage, in the worst case scenario. It’s therefore not recommended to race go-karts while pregnant.
How many laps is a race at K1 Speed?
Races are limited to 10 laps and points are not rewarded. Instead, racers simply line up for races – as soon as they finished one, they get back in line to wait for their next one!
Is K1 Speed worth the money?
Although a bit pricey (family of 4 $180 for 3 races), it’s well worth the price! Best go karts I’ve experienced and I love the fact that there is ZERO exhaust fumes and it’s all indoors, so weather is no a factor. My kids ages 9 and 13 had a blast as well! A must try if you’re in the mood for a REAL racing experience.
How much does K1 racing cost?
Racing go-karts at K1 Speed costs between $23.95 – $25.95 for a single race, $42.95 – $46.95 for two races, $54.95 – $59.95 for three races and $55.95 – $59.95 for a Speedpass (which includes an annual membership).
Is K1 Speed good for a date?
Our Speedpass is a great package for date nights. It includes two races, our annual membership, and a free shirt to take home as a memento (more on that a little later)!

Can you laser tag while pregnant?
It is important that child and adults alike follow laser tag rules to prevent injuries. We do not recommend that pregnant women participate in laser tag activities because laser tag is a moderately physical game and the risk of injury is present in the dark obstacle course.
