What Insurance uses Accredo?
You’re Our Number One Focus. Accredo® is now a Cigna specialty pharmacy. If you have Cigna-administered pharmacy benefits and are filling certain specialty medications through home delivery, your prescriptions will be moved to Accredo at a specific time starting this summer 2019, through the fall.
What is Accredo specialty?

Does Accredo do home infusion?
An Accredo home infusion nurse comes to your home to provide treatment (one treatment session can last one to four hours). Your nurse remains with you throughout the treatment session. The number of treatment sessions you need depends on the condition you have and on your health status.
Is Accredo affiliated with CVS?
Accredo will replace CVS in providing these specialty medications for most of your BlueCross BlueShield patients. If you have any BlueCross BlueShield patients who use specialty medications at home, an initial prescription will be transferred to Accredo.
Does Accredo accept copay cards?
Accredo specialty pharmacy connects payers and patients with the copay assistance they need. In fact, 98% of specialty drugs at Accredo have a copay assistance program available for patients.
