However, it is fair to say that Brač has to offer a solid nightlife as well.

If you are coming from Dubrovnik, then Korcula is your best option because it is easily accessible from Dubrovnik by public transport. It is also easy to get to Hvar from Korcula. Getting to Brac from Dubrovnik is a little more complicated and a much longer journey.
Do you need a car in Brac Croatia?
Its always nice to have a car on the islands to explore if you wanted to, but its not necessarily needed. If taking the car you can bring it on the Split to Supetar car ferry and it will be expensive to get it there, but at least you would have it there.

Is Supetar the only town in Brač?
It is currently the only urban area on Brač, while the other inhabited places don’t have the status of a town. I recommend you to take a two-hour walk around Supetar called “Cultural trip”, which is guided by educational boards, explaining interesting sights on the way.
