Oxblood is a dark red with a some green sheen. I had no idea this ink could sheen until I tried it in larger swabs on Tomoe River paper. It kind of reminds me of Sailor Jentle Grenade or Oku-yama with the bright green sheen.
Is diamine Oxford blue a wet ink?
The ink is wet, has high sheen, and a nice flow, it honestly reminds me of the way Sailor Jentle inks feel and behave. In writing, the ink sometimes looks a bit more Navy than medium blue, but again, I think that comes from how wet the ink is. Overall, the ink is nice and wet, and I love the color and the sheen.
