The Campground The park’s 29 campsites are well-suited for both tents and recreation vehicles, and there’s a cool yurt available for nightly rentals of $40. Full facility campsites are $16 a night, plus tax and a $6.70 reservation fee. There are three primitive tent sites along trails for $5 per person.
Are dogs allowed at Torreya State Park?
Pets are permitted in designated areas only. Pets must be kept on a leash no longer than six feet and well behaved at all times. Fishing, boating and fires are allowed in designated areas only. A Florida fishing license may be required.

Torreya gives you two great choices for lodging:
- We have the one and only yurt in the Florida Park Service. The yurt is heated and air conditioned as well as being fully furnished with a sleeping capability of five.
- No pets are allowed.
- The park does not provide linens so be sure to bring your own.

Are yurts air conditioned?
Air conditioning units can be free-standing or mounted into a window using electricity or solar power. A window air conditioner may be fitted into a second entryway or a frame similar to those used to frame windows. Air conditioners dry air before releasing it into the room so they don’t provide humidity.
Is Weeki Wachee dog friendly?
Pets are not permitted in the park with the exception of service dogs, as defined by the ADA. Emotional support dogs are NOT recognized by the ADA as service animals. Kennels are not available. Do NOT leave your pet in the car.
Is Rainbow Springs dog friendly?
Well-behaved dogs are welcome at Rainbow Springs State Park. They must be kept on a 6-foot leash at all times, and they are not allowed to enter the water, including headsprings, swim areas, river and ponds.
