Is RACV Australia wide?
RACV is a member of the Australian Automobile Association (AAA) and has affiliations with motoring organisations across Australia and overseas. Members who have purchased an Emergency Roadside Assistance product are entitled to receive reciprocal benefits from many of these organisations.
Can I use RACQ in NSW?

Can I use someone else’s RACV membership?
Membership cards are not transferable. A Member must not lend to another person or permit another person to use the Member’s RACV Club Membership card to gain access to the Club premises or for any other purposes.
Who is RACV owned by?
RACV was a founder of insurance brand AAMI (previously known as Club Motor Insurance and now owned by Suncorp-Metway), and both companies are now major competitors in the insurance market in Victoria with RACV’s business venture with partner Insurance Australia Group.
Are NRMA and RACQ affiliated?

Can I get roadside assistance if I’m not already a member? Yes, even if you’re not a Budget Direct Roadside Assistance member, you can still call us for help if your car breaks down. Non-members are required to pay a non-refundable service fee of $100, in addition to an annual membership fee of $89.95.
