How do I connect my Ooma to my router?
Use the Ethernet cable included in the box to connect the TO INTERNET port on your Base Station to an open Ethernet port on your router. Then, use your phone cord to plug your analog phone or cordless base unit into the PHONE port on the Base Station. Finally, use the included AC adapter to plug in the POWER port.
Does Ooma work with fiber optic internet?

Why is there no dial tone on my Ooma?

The advantage of this topology is Ooma can reserve/prioritize bandwidth for their HD voice quality. However, during the test, we found the Ooma is way too aggressive in reservation for voice traffic, and caused significant bandwidth decrease for other traffic.
What Internet speed is needed for Ooma?
Ooma is engineered for great voice quality but you will need a high-speed Internet connection equivalent to at least a typical DSL connection with 384 kbps upstream and downstream.

Solid red logo likely means a hardware failure.
How do I reset my Ooma base station?
Connect a computer or router to the Base Station for additional setup options. Push down and hold for 10 seconds while plugged in to perform a factory reset of the device.
How do I find my Ooma IP address?
Open a web browser on your computer and navigate to http://setup.ooma.com or http://172.27.35.1. Once you have completed this connection, you will be able to access the set up page to configure your system’s settings.
