Listings & Concerts Concerts are published as they are announced on Manchester Academy’s Facebook page. A gig guide can also be downloaded from the official website. Shows finish at 11 pm Mon to Sat and 10.30 pm Sunday unless otherwise stated. Doors usually open at 7 or 7.30 pm.
What is unreserved seats?
‘Unreserved seating/standing’ means that the area has a limited amount of seating available on a first come first served basis. For those who do not get a seat, there is space to stand and watch the show behind the seats. If you would like a seat, we suggest that you arrive in good time before the event.

Unlike the other venues, Academy 1 is in a standalone building, south of the original Students’ Union. The venue is often just referred to as “Manchester Academy”
