What is ASH abstract?
Late-breaking abstracts are now available to view in the final annual meeting program. Abstracts submitted for oral and poster presentations at the ASH annual meeting represent important, novel research in the field and are considered the best of the thousands of abstracts submitted.

What is ash event?
The ASH annual meeting provides an opportunity for global networking and gives a sense of belonging to the world community of hematologists. It provides opportunity for us to be known, to share our work, and to form meaningful networks and collaborations.
Does ash accept case reports?
Studies or case studies will not be accepted. Each submission must contain a single, high-resolution figure (may be a composite) formatted as a TIFF (minimum 300 dpi) and a discussion of no more than 200 words describing the clinical case linked to the image and summary teaching point.
What is ash used for?
A: There are many ways to use those ashes, from shining silverware to tossing them onto ice and snow to prevent life-threatening falls. They can be used to repel slugs and snails, or even to create lye for soap. But by far the most common and ancient use for wood ashes is for soil amendment.
What do you wear to an ash Conference?
There is no official dress code for the meeting, though most attendees dress in business casual. ASH recommends this attire as you will be interacting with leaders in the field, and the meeting offers many networking and collaboration events.

The American Society of Hematology (ASH) has selected Nancy Berliner, MD, as the next Editor-in-Chief of its journal Blood. Her five-year term will begin in January 2020. Over the past six years, Dr. Berliner has served as deputy editor of Blood, working alongside current Editor-in-Chief Bob Löwenberg, MD, PhD.
