Michelle Pfeiffer celebrated her special day, her 50th Birthday, yesterday in Paris during the filming of her latest film, Stephen Frears' Cheri. (See the video below)

And in the evening Michelle and her husband David E. Kelley enjoyed a romantic dinner. In order to celebrate this very special day with his wife, the famous TV writer David E. Kelley flew from Los Angeles, the couple went to "Le Stresa" restaurant with a few friends then headed back to their Parisian hotel.

You can see here the exclusive video of the filming of Cheri. You can perfectly hear "Happy Birthday, Michelle" by paparazzi, and Michelle answering "Thank you!!"

In an interview summoned by USA WEEKEND with Gwyneth Paltrow (35), Maggie Gyllenhaal (30), and Liv Tyler (30), for a rare round-table chat due that these three actresses appear in big summer movies based on classic comic books: Paltrow in Iron Man, Gyllenhaal in Batman sequel The Dark Knight, and Tyler in The Incredible Hulk; it was chatted about superheroes... and so Michelle Pfeiffer's Catwoman appeared during the the chat when it was asked about "superheroes they'd like to play?":

But these actresses aren't the only pfans of Michelle's cat... in InStyle (October 2006), in an interview with Scarlett Johansson, she was asked to choice between Wonder Woman or Catwoman and the actress answered: "Catwoman, because Michelle Pfeiffer is hot!"

Finally we already know who will play the role of the fiancée of Cheri in Stephen Frears' movie alongside Michelle Pfeiffer, Rupert Friend and Kathy Bates, she will be Felicity Jones. Remember that name because we're going to be hearing a lot about this talented 24-year-old actress.

Felicity is a British actress from Birmingham born in 1984, best known to television audiences for her role as the school bully Ethel Hallow in the series The Worst Witch and its spin-off Weirdsister College. Her latest work is the first big-screen version of Evelyn Waugh's Brideshead Revisited where Felicity plays Lady Cordelia Flyte, opposite Emma Thompson, Hayley Atwell, Ben Whishaw and Matthew Goode.

Actually I don't sure if the woman on the pic is Michelle Pfeiffer, but the source says that she is.

This picture was taken during the filming of "Cheri" this week in Biarritz has been found in Flickr. Althought I haven't understand the text joining the picture —I guess it is German or Dutch— it can understood that it says like "pictures were forbidden" so the pic was made in secret (I guess): Michelle Pfeiffer släcker törsten med lite vatten under inspelningen av filmen Cheri, regisserad av Stephen Frears. När jag tagit den här bilden fick jag arga bannor av två stadiga bitar som väste "NO PICTURES" ... 8)

Anyway, we can see a very first image of the movie. Thanks a lot Roser from Barcelona for providing this first and waited look of the film.

That has been the great news the latest months has been finally confirmed, Michelle Pfeiffer and Stephen Frears is already in Biarritz, on the South of France, to film the waited movie Cheri (based upon the novel by Colette), which will reunite again the team of Dangerous Liaisons (1988): Pfeiffer, Frears and Christopher Hampton (screenwriter).

Biarritz, the "spa-town", has back away in time until early s.XX, since the movie is set in Paris before the 1st War World.

The arrival of the crew of the movie has transfromed a part of the city, it is around the Hotel du Palais even the self five-stars-hotel. Besides, the asphalt around the hotel has been replaced by the cobbles typical of that time.

During some days, the extra-people for the movie —around hundred— have done proofs of costumes next the Casino.

According the news-source, it could be possible to see Michelle Pfeiffer, Kathy Bates and Rupert Friend walking around the city...
