Michelle Pfeiffer in the new "Grease"? October 30, 2007
I've just received this news, but actually I don't know if it is very credible or not, anyway it is a buzz, so I think we shouldn't pay attention, although it is odd...
According FemaleFirst.co.uk and Monsters & Critics: Michelle Pfeiffer is set to appear in a remake of 'Grease'. The 'Stardust' actress, who starred in the 1982 sequel 'Grease 2', has been approached to join the cast for a new version of the original 1978 hit musical and has her heart set on playing an older character.
Michelle said: "It's a great idea and I hear they would like to get Jessica Simpson for the role of Sandy, she would be good. I would love to play the school principal. She is fun and has some great put-down lines. I think I would like the part now that I have been asked."
Now that readers have narrowed down the field of ultimate female hotties from classic Hollywood to today, vote for the ONE woman of these 25 you think is the hottest sex symbol ever... Michelle Pfeiffer is into, take your time and vote. I'm a pfan, I've voted... now, you...

My great disappointment: Paramount Pictures October 19, 2007
Pfans & pfriends of PfeifferTheFace.com know the hard work we all have done to get a great site dedicated to our Michelle, for us it is a great recognizion that her movies are a hit in USA, Europe and somewhere.
Well, from here I have supported the launch of Stardust movie with news everytime, trailers, images, etc. I've made a hard work with it. You all know because you have seen it!
Now Paramount Pictures, production company and distributor of Stardust, (I guess with a new absurd policy) has reported YouTube about their videos copyrighted to remove from the site. Of course, all the videos about Stardust to promote it here has been removed by them...
But it isn't the only thing, thanks to Paramount, now YouTube has suspended my account, the account where the most of videos which you could watch in PfeifferTheFace... so from now you can't see any video in this site: no talk-shows, no trailers, no spots, no events... THANKS PARAMOUNT!
Now I have a question: IS IT THE WAY TO PROMOTE STARDUST AFTER THE FLOP IN USA?... Oh yeah, congratulates, you did a great work during the promotion there!!
So hard work has been now broken... so hard work during so long time!

The past year we reported about the new collection by Gwen Stepani inspired in Elvira's look in Scarface [read more].
Now Kate Moss has just launched a new hair care line with best friend and hair stylist James Brown, so it was surely only a matter of time before the pair teamed up to give the supermodel's locks an update. Following the official debut of the James Brown the model has been stepping out with a freshly-cut long fringe.
"We got together after seeing our new hair care range hit the shops and just decided to do it," Brown told the Daily Mail. "I love Kate's hair a shorter length and the fringe really looks amazing. She hasn't had a fringe for a long time but it makes her look really fresh and sexy. There's almost an element of a young Michelle Pfeiffer from the Eighties."

Pfeiffer & Vaughn interview in "The Sunday Times" October 8, 2007
TimesOnline has published an interesting interview with Michelle Pfeiffer (and quotations of Matthew Vaughn) published yesterday in "The Sunday Times", where Pfeiffer talks beauty, surgery and ageism.
The article/interview by Kate Spicer and titled "Age becomes her. When you’re pushing 50, Hollywood doesn’t want to know – unless, of course, you’re Michelle Pfeiffer" starts so:
When casting his latest film, the director Matthew Vaughn wanted his female baddie to be “absolutely an iconic beauty”. He knew exactly who it should be – a woman he had idolised since he was a teenager. So Vaughn got on a plane, flew to San Francisco, drove out to the chic, rural suburb of Palo Alto – all bookshops, alfresco Italian restaurants and expensive modernism – to the home of the woman whom scientists have described as the apotheosis of feminine facial beauty. She was knocking on the door of 50, taking a long break from work to concentrate on family life – a husband of 14 years and a teenage son and daughter – and keeping horses, miniature donkeys and lots of dogs in the countryside. The role he wanted her to take was that of the evil Lamia...
It is a wonderful interview, so you can read the full article clicking on here.
Michelle Pfeiffer interview with Jonathan Ross in UK October 6, 2007
Such as we reported some time ago, Michelle Pfeiffer was interviewed yesterday in 'Friday Night With Jonathan Ross', the most popular chat show in the UK which airs on BBC One, to promote Stardust.
A funny interview, —maybe the best of all the ones Michelle has done this year— which you can already watch here!:
I'd like to thank "Itsnotlupus" for uploading to YouTuve.
Michelle Pfeiffer at "Stardust" Premiere in London. October 4, 2007
Finally the European premiere of Stardust took place in London and almost the complete cast walked the "green carpet" at Odeon Leicester Square last night.
Michelle Pfeiffer, Charlie Cox, Sienna Miller, Rupert Everett among the main cast. Also there were Julian Rhind-Tutt, Mark Heap, David Walliams and Ricky Gervaist as star-cameos in the movie, and including boy band Take That attended the premiere.
Also the director Matthew Vaughn and Claudia Shiffer (her wife) and Neil Gaiman, (creator of the novel) were in the waited event.
The english magazine Empire dedicated to cinema reports about the event:
The ridiculously beautiful Michelle Pfeiffer started off looking like she was going to go straight inside and ignore the shivering lines of press, but ended up being utterly charming and chatting to everyone.
“I’ve always wanted to work with her,” Vaughan said later, “ever since she was in Grease 2. I think she was a bit surprised by that actually, but she stole every scene.”
Sadly Pfeiffer ignored our silent prayers for an impromptu rendition of ‘Cool Rider’, when talking about her role as evil Lamia.
“It’s nice to do a film that’s age appropriate at last so I can share it with my kids,” she laughed. “And it’s quite important theme. We wanted to comment on the idea of sexual youth and the terrifying lengths that women will go for it. Society’s so obsessed with beauty these days. ”
She also talked about the hours of make up during the filming, "Initially it took some time getting used to. I think the most disturbing phase was the stage when I was half aged and half normal - that was pretty creepy."

"Orphandage" remake, next project for Michelle Pfeiffer?. October 1, 2007
"El Orfanato - Orphanage" is terror movie produced by Guillermo del Toro (creator of "Pan's Labyrinth") and Spain's Telecinco Cinema with the participation of Warner Bros. Prods. Spain, written by Sergio Sánchez and revolves around a woman who returns to the orphanage where she grew up with the intention of opening a home for handicapped children. Her son makes an invisible friend, who turns out to be the same "friend" that terrorized the woman when she was a child.
The movie marks the directorial debut of del Toro protege Juan Antonio Bayona and has been screened at the Toronto International Film Festival where it is becoming one of the fest's buzzed-about titles.
The movie will be released Oct. 11 in Spain through Warner Bros. Pictures International Spain, while Picturehouse — which handled del Toro's "Pan's Labyrinth" — will distribute in the U.S. on Dec. 28.
Now the film has been adopted by New Line Cinema. After months of negotiations, the studio picked up the English-language remake rights to the Spanish-language thriller. Del Toro, who made "Blade II" for New Line, will serve as producer on the English-language version. The studio is out to filmmakers to adapt the movie.
Well, now, after the great work made with "Hairspray" between New Line and Michelle Pfeiffer, it could be great seeing Michelle in this part, besides knowing that the backbone of the film is undoubtedly the strong performance by Belén Rueda as Laura, who carries the entire film admirably. So Pfeiffer could be one of the stars who is being considerated for the role, besides let's remember physicaly Belén Rueda is pretty looked-like Michelle.
You can watch the trailer of this interesting movie clicking here or the teaser here. Although after seeing it I don't sure at all if our Michelle would accept the part... I'm remembering her experience in "What Lies Beneath" (2000)
