Enos. The Series
Enos series was the first of two The Dukes of Hazzard spin-offs. Enos had 18 episodes and run from 12th Nobember, 1980 to 20th may, 1981 on CBS, Wednesdays 8.00 - 9.00 pm. Enos Strate was the character played by Sonny Shroyer who played the same character as his role on Dukes, but with a bit more intelligence and fighting skills.
Enos was born in Hazzard County to a loving family, and grew up as friends with Bo and Luke Duke. At the age of sixteen, he enrolled at the Hazzard Police Academy, graduated at the age of nineteen, and was promptly hired as Deputy Sheriff of Hazzard County by J.D. Hogg.
Enos was always honest and straight, despite the corrupt state of law enforcement in Hazzard County. Enos was known for using the expression "Possum on a gum bush" whenever applicable.
The new series dedicated to exclusively to Enos was on air for one season, it was an attempt by CBS to strike gold a second time by spinning off a supporting character from its hugely popular and top-rated The Dukes of Hazzard.
The show began with the premise of Enos capturing two notorious criminals back in Hazzard County, then being invited to join a Special Branch of the Los Angeles Police for his nation-wide heroics. Narration is done in the form of letters home to Daisy Duke, telling her about his adventures in Los Angeles.
The scripts were pretty looked like of Dukes. James Best, Catherine Bach and Denver Pyle from the parent show made special guest appearances. But the show never caught on. It was canceled after 18 episodes, at which time the character returned to The Dukes of Hazzard.

Guest Stars
Michelle Pfeiffer: Joy
Bill Vint: Posey
Anthony James: Scorpio
In this episode Michelle Pfeiffer plays Joy, a prostitute who dreamed to be an actress. She wants to quit, but her pimp Posey, played by Bill Vint, uses her to blackmail big shots by secretly filming them with Michelle. When Scorpio, the big boss who runs the racket, played by Anthony James, falls in love with her, Enos thanks to her help, tries to frame him and get her out of that world. Of course he succeeds and Joy can have a fresh new start.
Many of the episodes guest starred soon to be famous people, such us Michelle Pfeiffer, who took part in a episode.
I've been looking for the series episode list in several sites on the net such us IMDb or TV.com, but I've not found Michelle Pfeiffer's name in them.
The first proof of that she was into the series is a little video of Enos uploaded on YouTube by Sdickison, a huge fan of the series and agent for Sonny Shroyer; and also some forums about the series where it is said Michelle Pfeiffer had played a part on some episode.
And the latest information about the plot and the part of Michelle (above) has been provided by WhoIsHeNiobe, whom i'd like to thanks for it, and the wonderful video-clip of Michelle on it.
